Only black and white text, such a boring text but useful at times.

This book although ok as a read, is not conducive to someone learning basics, There are no answer keys for any of the exercises, the website they refer you to does not have any answers to the end of chapter summary questions or exercises. So you are on your own, even after reading the chapters the answers are not easily retrievable or are worded in such a way where it does not pinpoint you to a specific location.

I had to quickly select a textbook to teach a basic networking class in the spring of 2013 for a graduate program. This book seemed to fit the bill.
